The Mirror Effect: You Are Who They Will Become
Your children don't listen to you; they watch you. If you want them to be brave, you must show them what bravery looks like.
The scariest truth of fatherhood is that your children will likely become who you are.
You can lecture them on honesty, but if they see you lie, they will be liars. You can tell them to be calm, but if you lose your temper, they will be reactive.
You are the mirror. If you don't like what you see in their behavior, the first place to look is in the mirror.
