A Different Kind of Discipline

Discipline isn't sexy. It's not exciting. And most days… it's not easy.

I've always been wired to go make more. If I wanted something, I figured out how to earn it. That mindset built a lot for me. It pushed me. It fed my family. It created opportunities.

But I'm starting to see something clearer…

Making more money is only part of the equation.
Keeping it. Growing it. Positioning it with purpose… that's a whole different level of discipline.

Because it's easy to chase.
It's harder to structure.

The Next 10–12 Years

I've been thinking a lot about the next 10–12 years.
All my kids will be grown. Adults. Living their own lives.

That's coming whether I'm ready or not.

So the real question is… what does life look like when that moment hits?

Do we build something big?
Land. Space. Animals. A place the family always comes back to.

Or do we simplify everything?
An RV. Freedom. Traveling the country. Working from a laptop and a phone… living life on our terms.

Truth is… I don't know yet. And that's okay.

But what I do know is this:

That version of life doesn't happen by accident.

It takes discipline today.

  • It takes structure with money.
  • It takes intentional decisions.
  • It takes saying no to things now so we can say yes later.

Income That Works for You

More income will always be part of my life. I'm not turning that off.
But now… I'm focused on building income that doesn't require me to constantly trade time for it.

Because freedom isn't about how much you make.
It's about how much works for you when you're not working.

That's the next level I'm stepping into.

And it's going to take a different kind of discipline to get there.

Let's Grow.
